I've always loved the sounds of Spring Peepers (small frogs) peeping and American Toads trilling their melodic Spring love song. I caught this male with his throat fully extended as he sang his lovely song. Females do not sing....only the males do to attract a mate. In the Northeast USA you usually hear male toads around the beginning of May. It took some maneuvering to get this shot but happily I succeeded in getting a good shot in. Hope you enjoy!
