Fall colors at Jay Cooke park

This was taken on a fall color tour of Northern Minnesota. The St. Louis river flows through Jay Cooke state park. It was a foggy day and I had hope this would set a mood for the photo. The color fades dramatically with depth and increasing fog levels. The landscape is comprised of mostly igneous rocks with maple and ash trees as overstory. Not seen in this photo is a really cool swinging bridge that crosses this river.
