A rose Contest Entry

I took this photo on Sept. 25 of this year. That is quite late in the season to capture such a fresh looking rose as this (at least here in MN). It was taken on the north shore of Minnesota. Being within a stone's throw from Lake Superior, the climate is milder in fall do to the heat stored in the water. This extends the growing season by several weeks. And yes it was raining however, off and on.
