The Color Blue - Art Contest Entry
Winter on the Atlantic Beach in the Algarve can be stormy, the clouds when streaky indicate wind, this pushes the sea higher into the dunes and often sand is lost to the elements. Here is the pleasure beach, early evening, deserted, only the broadwalk remains seperated from the sea by sandbanks and stabilizing rocks to prevent sand washing away. Already the sea is rolling over all towards the pathway.
Post Type: Mixed Media Traditional Art
Mixed Media: Medium | On MDF within a 4 picture framing. This is the first of the Atlantic from Portugal Algarve. Undercover is pastel and watercolours, top acrylic and varnish. There is a tungsten overlay to bring out the blues in all the blue timings.
