Website Header

Solved problem?

I have published before with Xlibris Publishing, and found them pricey but efficient. Supposedly they have been the most successful publisher whether national or self-publishing in the US, UK and Australia. That was before the current pandemic. Starting in June of this year they were supposed to create a website for my projects, but after 17 tries could never get my name or book edition right. In September I threw up my hands and built my own website. This took over two weeks to come live, but finally did. I wrote Xlibris several emails asking to please forget about my website. Now they wouldn't do so in case they would have to pay me damages, and I got barraged with communication from supervisors saying the website would finally be done right. But no, the proofs came back with the same problems as before, as though no one looked at it, and they certainly didn't fix anything. So last night I got an idea. I decided to make them a header for my work . My projects do not go well together on one small header as the material is very different and incompatible as far as themes go. Nevertheless, 16 hours later after throwing out multiple ideas, several computer crashes and stop codes, I finally created this post in an attempt to bring my published and as yet unpublished books together in one small space. The rainbow and horses was an accident as after a crashed file lost content, somehow the "jetsum" left behind included the horses and rainbow, so I thought what the heck, I'll just try that. I tried using the entire ark of the rainbow, but having it run over onto the subject matter on either side looked too confusing, I thought. Also, the hand rendered bits and other details on the left, kind of ended up being included by accident as well. They are done by my talented sketch collaborator who does lovely cacti and other art....
Supreme thanks to those donating to the Stories by Orphans project. Two musicians are paying me to create some promotional graphics for them, so with so much to do, I am going slowly, but the orphan's project is on track.... THANKS again!
