The Volkswagen "Beetle" is a two-door, rear engine economy car. It provided space for four passengers. The official name is Volkswagen Type 1. The car was produced in Germany from 1938 until 2003 by the German "Volkswagen Company". The car got the pet name "Kaefer" in Germany [meaning Beetle or Bug in English-spoken countries].
I saw this abandoned Beetle in a remote neighborhood near San Antonio Texas a few years ago. My camera just got broken in an accident a few days before I found the car. I made a few scratches of the car planning to use them for a painting. That was the plan, but life throw pressing duties at me. I did not finish the painting, and then forgot about it. Recently I found the painting in my old files and decided to finish it. I used my scratches, and photos in public domain I found on Google Images.
