This is a painting in oil medium of that great classic portrait by Vermeer ..Girl with a Pearl Earring, The original painted in 1665.
In copying this, I used Michael Harding Oil Paints which I have used previously for painting I completed 2 years ago of Caravaggios 'Sick Young Bachaus '
This painting of Girl with a pearl earring took over 50hrs to complete on a 35cm x 45cm linen canvas using an image from the Google Internet for reference.
