I found a canvas in the communal rubbish area. It was reprinted photo of a lady with sunglasses. The frame was solid so I brought it home disinfected it. I covered it in homemade gesso, that is household white acrylic mixed with talc and school glue the white one. I covered the photo 2 times outside. On drying the paint skin cracked so I painted white glue on and stuck on newspaper. That only stuck in parts so I peeled it off. This left quite a nice touch texture .. i then repainted it with the gesso mixed with coffee to darken it. Then i splashed it with the rest of the coffee and some tea leaves and left it to dry. It did crack but looked ok. I then flushed it with a green layer that changed colour and tones to where it spread. I liked the result and it looks like looking through trees and branches. There is even a tree trunk on the right if you look closely.
