Large canvas prepared to give aged appearance. Project was a still life in oils. I blocked in the underpainting with water colours. I was so pleased with the impressionistic result I have left it a long while. I took prints of it (thankfully) then I decided to move on with the top detailing in oils. Ruined it! So have blocked out the blooms and am reinstating them as was... then we will see...
