Urbanism Art Contest Entry

This square was being cleaned up and the old dilapidated buildings were painted with murals of local industries, the square is in the heart of Olhao, Portugal, behind the seafront street. I watched the work progress each day and made my own version of them. This is one of the sardine industry. It is on a wall looking into the urban square that has houses and apartments on the opposite side. Sadly the sun is making its mark and a lot of them are peeling. This was done approximately 5 years ago.
