One Bird in the Water Contest Entry
This is a duck species called Goldeneye, for obvious reasons. This image struck me as a duck on a mission. His/her stare ahead and rippled water behind seem to indicate it was padding fast and on some type of mission. I also thought the V pattern in the water was a great leading line to the subject.
