This is our Jolly. She is very obedient (most of the time)... born on a farm she is a mix but her mother was half Portuguese swimming cão. Jolly had training early in her life and loves for us to give her orders. She understands German, English and Portuguese. Dogs run free on this island so it's important if we whistle her she comes to us. (My husband even uses this whistle for me if he loses me in a busy area or shop (me red faced, always answers him back with another whistle, oh dear is that sad?) She is also a great swimmer and unfortunately swims to the mainland .. usually a fisherman sees her and brings her back. The mainland is a 20 minute ride in a boat. She is quite famous for this.
