Photograph of the Month Contest Entry

I was fortunate to find several egrets,as well as great blues, at a wildlife refuge about 1 1/2 hrs. From my home. They had recently drained the main pool alongside the wildlife drive,which stranded a lot of carp,which in turn attracted many large wading birds, as well as eagles and ospreys. I took a lot of photos of this egret which spent a great deal of time preening it?s feathers. Adjusted sharpness and brightness.
