| This Zebra is a quick 45-minute sketch I did as a teen, using charcoal. It is a line drawing using little shading. The background, however, is from shading with my finger from the charcoal, Aging has caused some of the brownish-like background of this drawing. In those days I liked drawing any animal from the horse and dog families.

Alphabet letter Z Contest Entry
When my sister and I were children we drew and colored a lot, including characters that we acted through, and later wrote a grown-up novel during our early teens. This zebra is one of the sketches or drawings I did in my later teens and kept through the years. The background has browned or yellowed some. Yet, I enter it into the "Z contest," the beginning letter for Zebra.
