These delicate butterflies measure only 2 to 3 inches in size but can be quite destructive to plants and farm situations. They are called Cabbage butterflies because they can destroy entire crops of cabbage and brussel sprouts each year, yet they are so pretty and beautiful to watch. Nature is amazing in its diversity.
