Still Life- Photography Contest Entry

This item was shipped to me years ago, completely broken inside the box.

After calming down and considering my options, I collected the pieces and dispensed with the smaller fragments.

This piece was all that remained.

And with one nail in my studio wall, I hung it there.

Now, as I enter the room, I become quiet.

Somehow, this fractured delivery reminds me to keep a peaceful state.
