Unfortunately, the world and life is stressful these days due to the continuing COVID pandemic, political unrest, racial unrest, cultural unrest, social unrest, economic unrest, the rise of crime, just to name a few. To help me to relieve my times of stress, I say The Serenity Prayer: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference". I try to act on The Serenity Prayer by trying to change things that I can by: volunteering, engaging in a healthy lifestyle, budgeting, influencing politics by voting. I used the Paint program on my computer to create this artwork showing a silhouetted person saying The Serenity Prayer to help relieve stress and gain inner peace.
