Dare to Express Your Ideas is an art course I am doing at the moment. This was part of my submission for unit 3... we had to make a picture of the recipe and result of a favourite food spread over a double page in our sketch journal. Sketch journals are of a thin quality paper and this exercise was to show how water can crinkle the paper.. thus for commercial art you must use a good grade paper. I had to sketch realistically but loosely then wet on wet watercolours and finally detail with a rigger brush. I actually liked the crinkle effect it adds something extra somehow.
