One of the hardest shots to get for me, is of the hummingbirds. Here in South Florida we only have the Ruby Throated (hard to believe, I had more species when I lived up in New England!). I have been trying, for a long time, to take a decent picture of the hummingbirds visiting this Bromeliad, Aechmea Blanchetiana. It stands about 5 feet tall and very quickly fills a gardening space with it's long tendril arms bearing the red and yellow flower shoots. The Hummingbirds like it for what little nectar it has and the Cardinals love it for its seeds. Camera: Canon EOS 90D/f/6.3, 1/100 sec., ISO-100, 0 step, 600 mm, 5.25, no flash, no tripod.
