Mixed Media: Minor | So I sketched out the drawing in a light grey pencil crayon.
I used watercolours starting off with blackish grey sky and coloured in the girl. As I was painting I added a moon and thought greyish black clouds with a tinge of white would be effective. I made the grass by colouring greens and greys. I had my husband create a small block of wood and I carved grass lines into it. So I used it as a stamp to stamp grass everywhere
As for the rain, I uploaded the scan of my art into an art studio and used the pencil line stencil of rain and brushed rain on my art. That was the only digital part. Im going to get my husband to create another block so I can carve rain strokes in it and use that next time I want rain strikes in my art.

When I was young, I used to sit outside in the rain. My mom would yell at me to get my butt in the house or I?m going to catch pneumonia. Well I loved rain and storms. I used to go outside all the time running and jumping in the rain. One time my sister and I got new boots and it was raining so I ran outside and danced in the rain. My sister was to weird about getting wet. Lol. So this is a memory of me dancing in the rain with my new boots and my scarf.
