Mixed Media: Minor Shot with my Nikon and a Sigma 16/300 lens. I shot in RAW and convert with Lightroom. Cropped and added a touch of contrast to help with the white snow glare.

The Cold Photography Contest Entry
In Michigan when you get a sunny day after a snowstorm, you grab your camera and go for a drive.
West Michigan is known for our famous Silver Lake Shifting Sand Dunes. Silver Lake is a shallow lake and freezes over quickly. It is also known for its excellent ice fishing. The day was sunny but brutally cold. Our ice fishermen are a very hearty bunch. However, on this day, the temperature was near zero. The fact that the chair had tracks leading to and away from the chair, tells you that even our bravest fishermen decided it was too cold to fish.
