Actually, this is a part of the Pipal tree in the building I live. This is a part of the tree trunk at eye level. I shot it with my cellphone camera, cropped it and made slight adjustments with light to give an abstract look.
What is Pipal tree? It's Ficus religiosa (wikipedia.org ) It is also known as the bodhi tree, pippala tree, peepul tree, peepal tree, pipal tree, or ashvattha tree (in India and Nepal). A species of Banyan tree native to India and its neighbouring countries.
Enjoy!
