This was a chance in a lifetime. I never expected to be able to capture something this beautiful when I started on the Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal. All afternoon the sky had been cloud covered and dull looking. Just as the sun was setting the clouds rolled eastward off the peak of Machhapuchhre/Fishtail and revealed the beautiful colors. Just as that was happening a storm was rolling up the valley thundering and lightening and creating all kinds of beautiful colors. I like how you can see clear sky on the left side and storm clouds on the right. It was amazing. I took the series of photos that I stitched into the panorama with my Sony A7iii and Sony 24-105mm lens. ISO 400 36mm 1/6sec f/8
