This is the west peak of the twin Spanish Peaks in southern Colorado (Respectively named East and West Peaks) The highest elevation is on this mountain at 13, 631ft. Located between La Veta and Cuchara Colorado. I snapped this shot from the Highway of Legends on scenic Bwy/Hwy 12. These mountains are 40 miles south of my house but large enough that I can see their tops on a clear day from my back deck.
