I originally began before digital cameras were available and used to develop my own black and white photos - a digital camera plus computer is a LOT easier and quicker!

Music Titles Contest Entry

A gold rush in Madagascar! Gold was found in this river just three days prior to this photo, these Malagasy people are panning for gold, hoping to change their lives - one very small nugget would feed their family for over a year! This was just a very small part of the river, the hoards of gold panners stretched for miles each way. I took the photo from a bridge crossing the river while travelling through the area, unfortunately it was midday and the light was very harsh.
