When your two selves, the light/dark or the responsible/irresponsible cannot agree, the inner dialogue can become loud and difficult to decipher. We all have that inner conflict of what we should do vs what we want to do, that causes many people to become anxious and unable to choose. This was an exercise in learning the balance between the two personalities that must coexist in one body.

Mixed Media: None | This is a diptych drawn in reverse on plexi, then painted in stages and framed. The images were drawn on the paper masking first. I then cut away parts of the paper cover to carve the details with a Dremel and then paint the sections individually.
