Birds Photos Contest Entry

Finally managed a couple of hours out and about in the winter sunshine yesterday. Unfortunately not as many birds around as I would like but you can rely on the Purple Swamphen who are currently preparing for spring. This one was checking out areas in the reeds, possibly looking for a good nesting site.
