I originally began before digital cameras were available and used to develop my own black and white photos - a digital camera plus computer is a LOT easier and quicker!

I discovered Maras (also known as Patagonian Cavy) at Whipsnade zoo (England) - I'd never seen one before. They are rodents from S. America who's nearest relation is the guinea pig (though they look more like a cross between a hare & a small deer!!). They are running & living free on the edge of the zoo grounds - it was such a fabulous sight!
