Crayons were invented for the use of people of all ages to color or draw with. Crayons are prevalent with childhood- it's hard to imagine growing up without them. Crayons remain a popular children's toy, I remember, when I was a child, my grandmother defining crayons as 'the quiet toy'- no noise involved. Crayola crayons were inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 1998. I used the 'Crayon' art tool of the Paint program on my computer to create this artwork showing the classic Crayons.
