This was taken in Yellowstone National Park 1/11/11 just as the winter afternoon sun began to cast a glow. These otters were at the confluence of Soda Butte Creek and the Lamar River.

Canon EOS 7D; f 4.5; ISO 400; exposure 1/2000; 500 mm

Mixed Media: Minor | Close crop, PS processing with levels, curves, and minimal saturation. Also used Topaz for sharpening.
