Wildlife Photo Contest Contest Entry 
I shot this with a canon 200d mark ii in the Flinders Ranges where many varieties of snakes and lizards can be found. We have some of the most venomous snakes on earth. The Blue Tongued Skink can grow about 2 feet long and this one would have been close to that. They have a very large blue tongue but when the poke it out it looks very bad so I prefer without the tongue poking out.
