Sea urchin, air plant jelly fish

Beneath the Sea

I saw this in a gardening shop, it's a combination of a white sea urchin and an air plant. Air plants are plants that do not need soil and attach themselves to rocks and trees. They get their nutrients and water by absorbing them from the air. I thought the combo of urchin and air plant looked like a jellyfish so I created an undersea scene for it. This one was hanging from a string in the garden shop. I hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by! :o) Helvi
Post Type: Mixed Media Photography
Mixed Media: Major | traced ,cut and saved urchin jellyfish. blurred and stretched original background to take out unwanted colors, turned background into a negative. Added radial foil filter ( radial foil has different filters within for different effects)... Jelly fish: added more green to tendrils and added some pink to some for electrical glow. Copied urchin, turned to a pink transparency and placed over original urchin for glowing effect, made and added bubbles to the water
