Beautiful Art Contest Winner

There was a little photo shoot after my daughter graduated from college. A picture was taken of her blowing metallic confetti off her hands. I decided to do a drawing of it. I first did a basic sketch on mixed media toned tan paper, then began coloring picture in with colored pencils. I first started with the eyes, worked my way down the face, colored the hands, then hair . I colored in the background and added flecks of metallic paint to add the final touches.
