Little Fruit Bat is one of my favourite creations. He was originally supposed to be a 'peel lemur', but I couldn't be happier that the idea eventually evolved like this. In order to add a little extra ... appeal (😉), he ended up with morphological traits that lean towards a sugar glider more than an actual bat, which makes a cuter design, in my opinion. Much like how 'flying foxes' aren't actually foxes, fruit bat is a bit of a misnomer. He's his own thing. Don't miss the kiwi fruit fly to the top right!

He was originally supposed to be a 'peel lemur', a monkey-like creature hanging from a branch on his long, orange peel-like tail. However, as the idea developed, a play on the term 'fruit bat' felt so right. Don't miss the kiwi fruit fly popping in from the right!
