Post Type: Digital Art | 2D Art | Made in Krita, this piece features a ribbon-dancing hummingbird, spiraling a rose-like pattern with her ribbon. The 'texture splat' was great for for the luminous gold dust effect, along with the grain and glitter texture on her body. To create the blurring action of her wings, the extremities were faded out with a transparency mask, and blurred with a with a filter mask, aided by a far more subtle, even more blurred and transparent replica of her wings to add to the effect. A good deal of airbrush, blender blurs and blender smears helped me sculpt the highlights, shadows and details with a soft touch.
