I have 16 wild rabbits in my yard, which are my favorite animal. They are incredibly smart. I have named each one and they come when I call their names. Recently I discovered a new trio of bunnies, here is the first one. I have named her Raison. She is a Florida Swamp Rabbit, which is a cousin of the Cottontail, but unlike the Cottontails, they only live by the water. They are smaller, darker rabbits, with longer toes that look more like an opossum. They walk like dogs when moving a short distance, showing how long their skinny legs are. They are incredible swimmers and enjoy a much bulkier diet than the Cottontails. Taken with my Canon EOS 90D.
