The Dancing Copper Horse
My sculpture, "The Dancing Copper Horse," was born from a desire to capture movement in a static form. While stripping #1 copper wire from electrical cords, my thoughts drifted to dance and music, and my lifelong fascination with dancing horses. I envisioned a horse transitioning its steps to the beat of music, its tail flowing with the bob of its head, and I knew I wanted to freeze that dynamic energy in copper.
This sculpture is a testament to the beauty of transforming humble materials into something unique and expressive, capturing the spirit of movement and the joy of creation.
