Back in October of 2010, I was lucky enough to come across a small cranberry bog where they were busy harvesting cranberries. To harvest cranberries, the bog is flooded, then a thrasher is driven thru the bog to knock the cranberries off . The loose cranberries float to the surface. After that, two guys with a long floatable hose go out, each holding one end. They create a semi-circle and drag the hose thru the cranberries. As the space within the hose fills they move closer , finally bringing the ends together. They then drag them over to a conveyor belt and empty into a waiting truck. hope you enjoy the view!
