In Yellowstone National Park, one of the best places to photograph the Yellow headed Black Bird is at Floating Island Lake. There are many of them flying in and out of the reeds. This was taken in the late afternoon when the reeds/grasses were back lit by. Most of the time the birds are hidden in the tall reeds. This one decided to show himself for a fleeting moment.
