Birds - Art Contest Entry

NO. This has nothing to do with the headlines appearing on all news channels.

This is about a bright pink spoonbill standing calmly with its long, flat beak. Its soft feathers shine like petals against a dreamy blue background. I have tried to evoke with the watercolour wash peace, grace, and the quiet poetry of nature.

I painted this on smooth, 250 gsm Strathmore watercolour paper, size 9"x12". Afterwards, I made minor adjustments, such as softening the image and adjusting the brightness, to achieve a better visual impact.
