The Eyes Have It Art Contest Contest Entry

This is a graphite pencil drawing of a young child. I started by doing a basic sketch of him to make sure proportions are right. I then used a 6B and 8b to shade in the skin. I use a tissue to blend the skin and then a Tombow eraser to lightly erase the tracks of the tears .

Mixed Media: None | The eyes are my favorite thing to draw and I really try to find the emotion in the eyes. I first sketch the basic shape of the eye using a 2HB then do the shading with 6B and 8 B. I blend with a tissue then go back and lighten the white parts of the eye then use a small eraser to create the tear stains.
