This could be a cover for underbelly of the shadow of mans need to have tribal truths and if you don't believe our tribe we will destroy your truth. People are dying every day for the dark metaphor of truth al over the world. Where ares the fairy tales that often tell us Gods can be Monsters and Monsters can be gods. The shadow mirror is also where we get to explore our individual restrictive beliefs that keep us stuck in robotic behaviors that rule our daily lives. Dismantling personal and collective "truths and falsehoods" is part of the journey. To do so exercising equanimity, kindness, compassion and joy can do wonders to find Self. Its is wonderful that you have posted this on FAR. Thank you. Your offering here is not just Gallery worthy, it is journalistic feed for the unconscious mind that often kills off what it doesn't understand using the agenda of truth as the weapon. Bravo !

Wow! You are an amazingly passionate writer!! I take it you have read Joseph Campbell. If not, you would very much enjoy reading about the 'Hero Journey'. Not to mention Jung!

Good contest entry and very accurate points about truth. It varies greatly depending on your view. Nice sign reflections in the window and would have been a good entry for the window reflection contest as well. I sat here and gave up trying to read what these signs actually say. Good photo and thanks for the view.
