The one in the foreground appears to be a female mallard; that mottled one seems like it must be some kind of hybred. A very nice shot with excellent details.

Cute title, if you'd had them back to back, would really have been so. But these ducks are adorable, beautiful and so clearly photograhed. Wish I had a "6." The multi-colored one is fascinating, and the foreground one, like a drop of water in its mouth. Beautiful water with its blueness and swirles of white.

What a great capture of this pair of ducks, i especially like the coloration of the one,quite unusual. Wonder if it's a hybrid from a farm duck. Very well composed,very nicely focused with good exposure,like the capture of the water dripping from the one's bill!

Wonderful picture Jack these dogs are absolutely stunning. I really love the wonderful ripples you've caught in the water as well with the reflection. I have to draw a dog that's gonna be some thing I will be doing this year they are stunning. Thank you so much for sharing

I think the duck in the background might want to be the leader. The duck in the foreground won't obey and seems rather bored. Well, you can lead whoever, but not me. I just have a drink says the duck in the foreground.... I see water dripping from the beak. The stop-inaction is perfect. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the and realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed. The ducks are perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I can tell it was a beautiful day on the lake observing these ducks and taking great photographs.
The details on the darker one, sipping some water and beautiful colors on the one in the back are so nice to view.

A very beautiful content as I am in Switzerland right now and there are more than 50 of these animals, and they always come close to me as I am feeding them so they are even taking it from my hands, and therefore I love this picture very much
your angle and position is excellent - as you are in a higher position, so we can see them from a special angle. A very attractive content, thanks for sharing

the male is the one in the background, different from our mallard ducks; he obviusly decided to leave the female who is drinking too much; lol;
