This is a lovely shot!! Very creative and artistic. The cool green colour is very soothing. The calm water and reflection adds to that effect. This would be beautiful blown up large on the wall. Very well done, thanks for sharing

Simple but effective shot of this leaf sort of thinking outside the box in this i like its just green [a case of less is more] my only thought though it appears not to be pin sharp,any thoughts on that but saying that i don,t in this case think it matters to much...Brian

Very nice entry for this contest, the eye immediately is drawn to the green leaf floating on the surface.
I like the diagonal placement of the leaf within the frame .
You have photographed it well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural, the way the leaf is curled , it almost looks like a small boat or raft floating on the water. I like the drop of water on it too!

Nice to see that you are back posting your work Soulfeeder. Started to think that you had left us. I like this entry into this contest most of all because of the simplicity and the limited color pallet. I also like the fine shine in the dark water and the droplet on the leaf.

The photo is also sharp with clear details, and the drop of water is standing out well defined. The exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is perfect, and I like the diagonal placement of the leaf. It is a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
