Oic..you gonna sic the gull after that mean looking green parakeet huh? Lol. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this gull looking down is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Wow what a fabulous shot of this beauty, looking down from a tree. What kind of bird is this? You did well at capturing the details from a distance.

Fred, he definitely has his eye on something, very intense spying of the area below. His girl friend is frantic and finally he spots it "her ring", what a gull. Bad? yes it is doesn't even deserve a chuckle. Ray

Nice looking shot! With watchful eyes, the gull perched upon weathered rocks, thinking of grabbing some food and flying back to the symphony of coastal melodies. Thanks for sharing.

I like this; it's simple, nothing fancy but it's nice to occasionally see just good photographs. Great idea on the Rule of Thirds; great color and brightness. I would've brightened it a smige, but this way is great too.

Fred,
That's NOT a Pigeon (Pigeons have short blunt beaks) it's a Herring Gull ~ Larus argentatus looking down on you from it's perch on top of that tree. The low sun highlighting it's white head while throwing the tree into dark shadow. Beautiful composition, framing with strong lighting. The focus is not as sharp as your photos usually are.

My 1st reaction was 'gull'; the head is very gull-like. Best way to find out: kill and eat it. If good, it's a pigeon, if revoltingly like fish oil, it's a gull. Nice photo.
