Great use of a dark background to bring our focus to the soft skin of the child with big watchful eyes. The hat is a great prop and really completes the artwork.

Great job with your highlights and shadows, especially around the face area. He's eye proportions are off just alil tho and the inside of his elbow is lil off set from where it should be from my view. Cutest lil mouth and nose tho, really did well with that area of his face. Thanks for sharing.

It is good to hear from you although your remarks about the elbow and the eyes are incorrect as they are exactly as the reference photo. His elbow is that way because his wrist is resting across his knee. I did make the blanket up, which several have complimented. Three and .5 point is a terrible rating compared to all the other ratings, and from seasoned artist.

Welcome to FAR. I see you joined in October 2023. Thanks for stopping by, however, his eyes and elbow are exactly as the reference. The reason his elbow appears this way is because he is resting his arm on his leg (near knee). This is a terrible rating compared to the other ratings--from seasoned artists, as I am. Please see my portfolio of my drawing and painting of people, especially the replicas, "Sabrina" where I have the original, etc. Thanks kindly.

Very lifelike. I love the expression in those little eyes. The shine on the hat band is just right. And the wrinkles on the shirt give excellent texture. Excellent artwork.
