How cute is this! Love how you have this little dog diving under the water to find the ball his master threw! I like the zig-zags of water reflections on the bottom of the pool and burst of sunlight breaking thru the water. Very cool and summery and a lot of fun to view! Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Nancy

I'll bet. That's creativity for you. It brings more creativity. This story is forming from the art and you see it in your mind. I can help put that into words with correct spelling and grammar the boring stuff. But I see the storyline unfolding. Wink It will all work together once you then decide the format regular book or comic etc. I've been studying art and writing style in comic books in case you decide on that. Art stands out in those best with the action packed ideas you have.

A.graphic novel? Maybe but to make anything work book, video, cómic.. we need to work together..you had a cool idea start which influenced me to create "I will show them" drawing..also if I have a suggestion on any changes or adding ill sing out. With these 20 plus drawings and more coming this should take that story further. What do you think?

I think it's all good. I can't help sating ideas. When you have all of your drawings, let me know how you receive them to be displayed. Chapters with images, words on the same page as images etc. I've self published a but and you might know more because I don't know much lol. Once it's all compiled I'm sure the story will go very well. I am a collaborator.

What I know nowadays about publishing is they will woo and coo ya but bottom línea they want money. Mu participation has always been write me what you want to see. All I have is some scrabble notes in my franklin planned and the work that I have already have drawn. I'm also do some work for these contest that I can lose in but hey the fun is trying..wink. I'm looking you to write the story. That is why we can take this one.chapter at a.time. your still active on FanStory right?

Yes I am. When I self-publish on kdp Amazon, it costs nothing. I publish things on FS sure, daily. I mean, if you wanted to create a book to have, you set everything up yourself on kdp. I made books and set them at $2 and bought my hardcovers to have. I haven't tried colored print yet but they take the amounts from what you would get, I don't have marketing and all that stuff people sell I block each one. I have just used kdp for fun. Just to be clear and on the same page. If you just want to get this story out on FS that is no problem at all. Actually it can be more costly because you pay to promote things on FS and only can post 2 things per day. Are you on FS to write? You can post the story and I could be a contributor or something. On kdp you can choose sizes and templates like for comics or any other book. FS is just what it is, fun but limited. Just spell things out for me because I do get confused sometimes. ;)

It's really example..on FanStory I have been a standard member since 2011 but just the last couple years I had full access only because I worked with contest and recognized committees for thier contest award announcements. Now I'm lil people amd.back to standard. No loss though..why? Because I'm not a writer. Just an idea guy..I figured let's get this created and if is still good..then worry about promoting it.

You got it! I can create it on Word. I usually put that on FS. It does not allow for m any images though. One each chapter? Just to get an idea. Just let me know what I can do and we cab work on one chapter at a time or something. I do a lot of writing and I can plan one or two days per week to release a chapter. There is an option to write a book with another person on fs. Should I look into that. A book for the site only for now but that will be cool.
We'll decide the overall then I'll give you a loose outline and we can share each chapter info and post each if it's what is best overall. Most fs people are closed minded but I write what I feel to write. OK just keep your good art and ideas coming along.

Yep. I'll try to put the images in order to make sense and I have to make and outline loosely to keep it in my head so it makes sense and things like that. What are the top ten storyline elements that you'd like to end up in the story or 5 to 10. This way I'll make sure they do and make sure it all ties together. You wanted the double meaning stuff for adults too so I can try to work that into doalogue or names of places or things. And the doggy will have a name? Right? That could be a double meaning right there.
This will definitely be fun to create.:)

Oh this drawing is for the contest only...ok how about 5? Lifes challenges, wrong assumptions, the power of comradeship, the turmoil of changes, the healing by love..I like the concept of dimensional travel..your can be discovered by a team that has travel thru it..something like Time Bandits but not a silly story of midgets bouncing thru time but have it as an adventure..yeah I can create landscape scenes that can appear alien. Whatcha think so far?

Landscape scenes and even scenes of being in dark space with planets at a distance may suggest time travel? Just throwing that out there.im good at creating dialogue too but should we come up with a certain way of talking? We can use regular words and say th wem out of place or add a letter to all regular words. I was thinking the young boys were lazy and the sister it's a fire under them to do what the time traveler dad says will save the world. We must make sure readers will understand all of our ideas. They will truly enjoy the images paired with a creative thought provoking story. :)

I was thinking we could begin with white words on a dark background setting the entire premis like star wars. Then everyone will understand a the interactions betters as they fo things and speak. What do you think?

I have been thinking of many was to create deminsional portal..oh speakkng of star was George Lucas did 6 chapters but when decided on a movie he choose chapter 4 "a new hope"...looking at all the chapter it would be a good choice to introduce the story to the general public.you had mentioned star was and that info popped in my head. I know his his 1st 3 chapters LEADS up to 4 and the 2 afterwards saga just finalize the conflict. The 3 never ones recently just a fresh story and killing off old heros and creating new ones. I know character build is essential in the beginning of the story. Some stories whether book,TV or movie spends a lot of time doing a lot of character building in the 1st of the story. Sometimes I feel really board waiting for something to happen or just get on with the story.zzzzzz..but if we build a mystery about the character and.learn more about them in the story in between the adventures or conflict,etc..you know when you gave me a sample story with the time teaveler and in those few sentences that cartoon was what was going thru my mind while reading it. Few writers really left impressions on me while reading..Stephen King..John Saul..Ray Bradbury, John Grisham..I would have some vivd visions in my head when I read their work. BTW the book "Carrie" was written like it was court transcript where the.officials were investigating why so many people were killed that night in that small Maine Town. Hope this helps some..like I said..I'm not a writer..wink

Let me get that co author thing started tonight and then I hope we'll both have access to see it, edit it, etc. I'm a global thinker so good. We'll think that way. The "1st chapter" is the past. The present starts at the 4th chapter like that. Let's see. And I think everyone is an artist and or author. The creative part is first the ideas. OK wheels turning. Once we have a format and way of working on this, we will post weekly. That would be cool I think. Do you have an image of that vast space we can begin to write the background there. Show one time traveler and maybe a dog in a capsule from adar and words cab begin in the art which I can add to the image then blend into the "page"
We can choose white words on black to start. It will jump off the artwork the story?? An idea.
