A very beautiful place. Ive been there many times. Just up the mountain and over the hill from where I used to live. Great little place in Medows Of Dan Virginia.
You have captured it well here with good colors and harmony. Good initial and visual impact. Good presentation. A little dark but not bad. A very lovely image. Thanks for the memories!
Ever been to the Cascades not far from there is a 63 foot waterfalls in Pembrook, Virginia.

What a beautiful place, the golden hues of Autumn really compliment that old mill, this would make a great card! Beautiful photograph causing nostalgia within me from living on a farm when I was eleven to twelve years old. I wonder how long you had to wait to get the sun on the roof just right. I think it must have been around ten o'clock in the morning. Overall great composition with building placement and color thematic control. The chiaroscuro quality is almost perfect drawing the eyes into the dark center of the picture. Reasons for my six-star vote.

This is so well executed that I had to look twice as I thought it was an oil painting. Stunning composition and beautiful colours. The way the pond flows, brings the eye to rest on the mill while enjoying the journey of the autumn leaves along the way. Great job! Regards.. Nat

Jack this scene is about as iconic as windmills are to Holland, and you have portrayed it very well.
The framing can't get better than this. It tells the story of this era of natural power and industry - bravo.
Camera settings are top notch.
Colors are natural in tone, hue and saturation.
