Yes different for this sort of contest, none the less if you came across this then it would be unexpected, that aside good action shot of these two locking horns, sort of think you also see inthe uk with deer, good clear shot with impact though...Brian

    Thanks Jewell!
Ha ha at one point they got their horns hooked together and had a real problem untangling themselves!

Don’t you sometimes wish that this website also include included videos? It would be so much fun!

Yes, wouldn't it! Especially as I got a video of the entanglement of horns...and many many more!

Charlotte,
A beautiful stop action photo of these two male Impala fighting in the Tsavo national Park in Kenya. The sunlight behind them gives them a halo of light around them. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you SO much Susan for your great review and rating!
Has it come out okay on your screen? It's just that I'm having real problems with my uploads coming out dull and lack-luster compared to the original and so I'm having to really ramp up the vibrance and saturtion before posting, which goes very much against the grain. I hope it's not just my computer screen!

Great close up capture Charlotte of these two male impala fighting. Your image is clear and interesting. It looks like you had a wonderful time at the Kenya National Park photographing wildlife in their natural habitat.

    Thank you very much Chris.
Oh it really was a wonderful two weeks visiting various different parks in Kenya and Tanzania. I've got a big birthday at the end of the year and am sorely tempted to go back - so much more rewarding than a big party!

You've got an eye for nature photography! The framing works beautifully, and the blend of light, shadows, and vibrant colours makes this shot stand out. Good luck!

This is a great shot of the impala facing off. Well captured and the focus and clarity are beautiful. This is a great action photograph that many of us do not see.

as you hear slight talking in back and then you hear "RING!" and the 2 fighter moved in heads down and antlers out. i see one making an uppercut. who knows who will wein this match! the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of these antelope getting into battle is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall
