What a unique flower and plant this is. Thank you so much for your notes. As I am not familiar with it, but I am definitely intrigued by it. I love the way you shot this. Even though it appears that the plant is in shade, you still managed to capture enough natural daylight to light it amply. Thanks for sharing.

Aimee,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Robin's pincushion. Which is a Gall caused by a Gall wasp. It's nothing to do with the bird Robin. It's on a Wild Dog Rose bush.

This is such a unique plant and it's one that I have not seen or even heard of before.
Well captured with nice focus, this image is clear and you have managed the exposure well.
Well composed, nicely presented with your added border!

An interesting plant and interesting title posted here! Your fine and full composition gives a good view of that bush. I presume robins sit on it? Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

Nik,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on the Robin"s pincushion. while is called a Robin's pincushion it's nothing to do with a Robin. It's caused by a Gall wasp that causes the growth in the stem of a Dog Rose Bush.
